Silkroad 3 Print

I am a painter and printmaker. My love for art started in my early childhood in Germany. I graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a BA in Fine Art, summa cum laude. In printmaking I concentrated on etching, collograph and monotype. Apart from abstract painting I was also interested and enjoyed figurative work. I work in all media, from oil and acrylic to watercolor. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest I have been inspired by the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula to paint the landscape. I am drawn to a more close-up intimate view of my surroundings,rather than the grand picture. My work has been included in private and corporate collections in the USA, Canada, the Far East and Europe and has been shown in numerous juried exhibitions.
