About The Artwork

Preparing is to browse pictures that are something interesting to me. Interestingly, then, if they have some impersonal originality for me. There is something in them that fits me. Often I do not even know what I'm looking, but when I see it I know it's it. It's such a feeling that the picture has something, maybe even a little part that fits me into my mosaic. I'm looking everywhere, and it's almost constant. Books, music, the Internet, poems, life, everyday reality etc. The change in the head occurs when I approach the studio through the bathroom and get from one world to second. When I feel underfoot the insulation material I have stretched on the floor in the studios not to dirty the floor, I know I'm on another ground. This pleasant warm feeling indicates the working site where it is formed. I create when I can go to the studio. Sometimes it's just a moment sometimes it's all day. Does not matter because it's so-called. the state you are in. If you are in that state enough for a minute and the image moves in some direction. If that condition is absent I can fuck and sit in the studio all day and nothing. I do a lot of things unprepared. Sketch, color preparation composition. All this is going on marching, or without thinking and deeper thinking, why. It is not enough. After the color I simply draw and combine colors when I see them on the shelf where they are saved. I do not have a precise idea of what's going on in the picture, but I feel exactly what I want to experience when looking at that picture. I'm working more with what I've experienced and I want to feel about the picture like with what I want to see on the picture. The very process of creation and layering is something that actually creates time and space in the image. Especially time. In the literature, it is characterized by some events by a time sequence, a description of the situations. In the movie, it's a story, a story that takes place in some space. Well, the time has to work for the picture. From the first layer, the basis for everything is created it packs, accumulates, overlaps, creates, reveals and overlaps. I like it very much when you the layers come together and are totally different. There will be something random that works together. The coincidence itself is the basis of knowledge. Unless a single drop drops to the surface image, never would have created space in the picture. The liquid creates an illusion of space it does not produce any country or perspective. But this is more or less some kind of personal visual eye experience. Someone will notice it as a beautiful moment in the picture. Someone records it subconsciously and acting in the head as a byproduct. The picture is for me to discover. If I knew what I was going to do I would not have left. Every new image is an expedition whose goal is unknown - fortunately. The process itself is an experience, it's the opportunity to leave everything and to hope for something else, new. There are also some images in the image attraction and repulsion of the things that are there. Team I mean individual elements that get there. Dyed lines of color concrete things - depictions and even snares of stekans and others. Everything with everything. It's a quest to find where to add where to go. It's a quest for peace in itself. When to stop what I still have and what not. This is the setting rate as yet I can see and no longer. Everyone has the experience of a different experience set and experienced. In the gallery, we always think we all see the same paintings. But it is not, everyone sees what can see. What he learned to see and observe and especially what he had visually survived. She yelled sunrise on the Skalnatom plese. Lomničák is in dark shades. Then there is a peak The yellowish yellow but the yellow is cool yellow and the snow flasks in the troughs are sharp white. Sun is on it's up from the horizon and Lomnicak is yellow more but yellow is warmer snow in the gutters is gray white. The sun rises and the yellow is no longer yellow but is orange yellow. The snow is almost blue. The sun is already well high above the horizon and Lomnicák is a bluish blue in a whisper of yellow. However, the shadows are shaded on the slope. They are blue and light on a white surface. The blue has brilliant outlines along the edges, which also shines on a white surface. Then the shades change to the blue. When is the image finished? I can not describe it, it's all there. Sometimes it takes me I can identify with that. Sometimes I just watch and I do not know how to react or enjoy or cry. But I know she's ready to live her own life. They sometimes mature those paintings. Some longer, some shorter. Some time as if they got sympathy, harmony and begin to work and radiate. Some are just that. Much is done by people and those who look at them. They communicate with them. These images call them on the dance floor and if the viewer can to talk and to dance, the picture is then redeemed. Speaks the viewer for a dialogue. It's just about that. The ability to establish communication is one thing.

With his work Fric reflects the character of a contemporary society – media intentionally manipulating our lives, omnipresent restrictions, rules, commands determining our lives distinguished by high level of knowing and some kind of a deceptive certainty. Thus his paintings, balancing on the edge of representational and abstract painting, become ,,surreal“ testimonies full of humour, absurdity and coincidence. On his canvases Fric creates a pictorial system full of signs and references to contemporary, media, pseudo heros and pop culture ruled world. Fric is a veratile artist and apart from painting he works in other media as well.
