About The Artwork

In this painting, I've blended the fluidity of fine art with a touch of the abstract to capture the ephemeral beauty of a twilight horizon. Through the use of oil paints, I've brought to life the vibrant interplay of light as it retreats beyond the runway, symbolizing both departure and hope. The contrasting droplets and streaks add a dynamic texture, evoking the bustling energy of travel and the poignant solitude of farewells. This piece is an emotional journey, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the transitions in their own lives.

Brazilian self-taught artist based in Rondonopolis - Mato Grasso. I was born in Belo Horizonte – Minas Gerais in 1961 and rised in Carmo do Paranaiba also in Minas Gerais. Since I was a kid I had knowledge about paints, working as a spray painter by painting truck bodies, then moving on to the publicity works. From 1992 I began to make paintings more intensely when I moved to Rondonopolis. From 2004 to 2008 I lived in London, England, then came back to Rondonópolis. Using traditional painting techniques, I dive into what I see and I interpret it plastically. I value geometry, framing, details and compositional cuts with games of colors, lights and hues.
