About The Artwork
Inspired by all the manga I saw everywhere in Tokyo, I did this painting in a flatter, simpler style than my other pieces. I kept the colors muted and grey, like much of Tokyo is muted and grey -- the better for all those bright, city lights to stand out. Or one lone rebel, even if all in black, to stand out.
