Water People II, like (Water People I) is painted in the triple learning loop process, first adding organic fields of monocrome, strong colores, then adding a layer of blue-green colors with a scalpel givning the painting a waterly feeling, and finally adding whatever is needed of figurative or geometric figures. We are in a more remote dream here, another commodius vicus, of recurrent late modern human history, from Adam and Eve to Trump and Merkel. "The iceflow begins to freeze, as father John Misty put's it".

Zonation paintings focus on integrating and balancing the elements: lines, tones and colours. I follow an expressionist painting philosophy inspired by Cézanne, Kleé and followers. Motives: Copenhagen cityscapes, croquis, stilleben. Artworks in acrylics, oil, aqua oil, multicoloured chalk, aquarelle and pencils. Artist video: http://vimeo.com/5322606 Artist podcast (Fr): http://podcloud.fr/podcast/choses-a-savoir-art/episode/artiste-a-decouvrir-hans-jorgen-henriksen I use the acronym 'de Hansi' in order to distinct my painting activities from my professional work as a hydrologist. I am a Danish hydrologist currently working as a principal investigator and researcher at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland at Øster Voldgade 10, 1350 in Copenhagen (working in close cooperation with Copenhagen University institute for geology and geography). I am known for my research in the field of hydrogeology, with a focus on groundwater resources and their management, as well as the impact of climate change on groundwater systems. I have published many papers in the international scientific journals, and I am also a member of several scientific organisations.
