About The Artwork
Every year I go to the "Piano Grande" of Castelluccio, near Norcia: in summertime the flowers make the valley a magic place. But now the earthquake in central Italy destroyed the small village and blocked the access to the valley. So I want to remember the last time I saw it and imagine the landscape as a broken mirror in which the fields and the sky can reflect the space but no more the village.
