About The Artwork
This picture depicts a sleeping girl. It depicts a sweet sleep, a state of peace, when the mind calms down, the body relaxes, then dreams come. A floral pink bedspread, (or maybe) a rose dress... For many years, I have specialised in the field of prints, so I think that the motif I want to depict is best revealed by choosing the etching technique. When drawing a picture on a metal sheet with a special needle, I carve out lines of various depth and thickness, which connect into a unified composition. In my work, special attention is paid to details, so only by looking closely can you see them and thus discover them and combine them into one story.
