Email: thetayyabtariq@gmail.com, Tayyab Tariq is the recipient of several awards; recently, Pakistan’s first artist in more than “400 years” to hold “Solo” Exhibition in Shahi Hammam the Great 16th Century Royal Bathhouse Lahore. His work has been admired by the most respected art schools in the world. In this year in Portugal University of Porto awarded him 1st rank artist out of 22 from around the world in their yearly ranking postgraduate award. In 2018 “Germany” Bauhaus University “Black & White Challenge” published his work called “Intimacy” on Social Media profiles. 2016 Sarah Lawrence College New York published him in a yearly Journal. Earlier exhibited his work at MANIFESTA 10 – 2015 The European Biennale of Contemporary Art in Saints Petersburg. Listed Top 50 artist of 2015 by Blooom Award Germany. He participated at Hybrid Identities International art Expo in Venice, Italy. Festival “International D'Art” in 2015 in Casablanca. Held first Solo Exhibition “Contrapposto” in Moscow 2014. Also showcased work in New York, Venice, Morocco, London & Lahore. In 2012 selected for British council-INSPIRE program is a higher education exchange program between UK & Pakistan. He is currently perusing MFA in Academy of Fine Art, Wroclaw Poland.
