About The Artwork

Inspiration came from growing up in the western United States and the many mesa's , colored mountains and rock outcroppings that have so much color. I use recycled materials to make in entirety the composition. The frame is with recycled wood that has visual interest and imperfections that enhance the composition. I use industrial adhesives and mechanical fasteners such as screws and nails to adhere found objects to wood substrate. I want the viewer to be kept in the intrigue of figuring out what some of these intricate pieces are.
