Rainbow Sunrise was inspired by the sea and gardens on the magical island of Corfu,Greece, where I lived for many years. Soft pastel colours dominate the painting, reflecting the warm hues of the sun and the sea. Layers of blues and greens create a sense of depth and motion, evoking the ebb and flow of the tides. I also incorporated subtle hints of pink and yellow to represent the sun's reflections on the water, adding an element of warmth and energy to the piece.
