Maka Zedelashvili

Georgian multimedia artist Maka Zedelashvili fuses traditional art with contemporary digital techniques to create emotionally charged, visually layered works. For over 30 years, her art has explored themes of memory, identity, womanhood, and cultural roots in old rituals — yet resonates far beyond. Her practice spans solo and group exhibitions, international forums, and cross-cultural collaborations. Zedelashvili’s work has been shown at leading institutions including the Grand Egyptian Museum, National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Georgian National Museum, and the Zurab Tsereteli Museum of Modern Art, among others. Through rich symbolism and a deeply personal visual language, she translates collective memory into intimate, arresting images — opening space for reflection, resilience, and spiritual inquiry. Her works are held in prominent public and private collections around the world, reflecting her global resonance and enduring impact across cultures.
