ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work of art is an attempt to depict the fear and isolation that hundreds of thousands of people who were under quarantine after exposure to the Covid-19 virus felt. A black and white photo of a woman that comes from a fashion magazine has been printed multiple times on a piece of heavyweight matte paper and is then painted over with black acrylic paint, in order to form the windows out of which people under quarantine are able to see the world.
