Until 6 years ago, my works were figurative explorations of human behaviour - reflecting our strengths and vulnerabilities as we go about our daily lives. Now my work is abstract expressionist - in particular, a style I call "evocative abstract". I draw on themes of silence and the "poetry of just being". I want my paintings to evoke feelings, memories and images - stimulating their recall to the conscious mind of the viewer.
