Spirit of Africa Print - Limited Edition of 20

I was originally going to include this image in my 'Portraits of the Rift Valley' series, however as those photographs are very simple but powerful natural portraits, this composite artwork seemed quite at odds with those, so have decided to use it as a starting point to head up a new series. Taking a Maasai portrait and then infusing it with the environmental elements captured in the surrounding area, to make up the final composite piece. Each of the additional elements were shot out on location, zebra print on the tribesman torso, giraffe print on the face, acacia trees in the haired vulture flying etc. Portraits from the Rift Valley - A series of personal portraits photographed whilst spending time on location shooting for a commercial job in the Amboseli National Park, Kenya.
