Studies for the 'narratives from the coastline' pieces that followed, uses a plan of the coastline and topography of Brighton (the area around the Palace/Brighton Pier) together with images of pebbles on the beach, artefacts and drawings of snippets of views from around the city. The sea is appropriated from a famous painting, in this case, 'Stormy Weather' 1824 by Turner.
