I came back from katapult gallery Basel (switzerland) where I just brought some paintings, and saw this young cow 1084 at the roadside. I got out of the car. I slowly came closer, but at first she was a little shy. She walked up and down, but than she decided to come closer, and beeing touched. When I made no efforts to touch her, I took some mobile-photos and talked to her. Than she tilt her head on the wooden fence, looking in my eyes. Im not afraid of kitsch, because where the worst kind of lie attracts you the sentimentality at the same time these unprotected feelings are looking for help. At the painting 1084 I she is near, at the painting 1084 II she tilt her head on the wooden fence. Ich kam also von der Galerie Katapult (Schweiz) nach Hause als ich 1084 am Straßenrand sah. Ich stieg aus dem Auto und kam langsam näher, allerdings war sie anfangs etwas scheu. Sie lief auf und ab, entschied dann aber doch näher zu kommen möglicherweise um gestreichelt zu werden. Als ich keine Anstalten machte sie zu streicheln, sondern stattdessen Handyfotos machte legte sie ihren Kopf auf den Zaun und schaute mir in die Augen. Ich habe keine Angst vor Kitsch, denn da wo die schlimmste Lüge lockt, die Sentimentalität, ruft zugleich die ungeschütze Empfindung um Hilfe. Auf dem Bild 1084 I ist sie noch nicht ganz vorne, das Bild 1084 II zeigt sie mit dem Kopf auf dem Zaun www.eckhard-besuden.de

Besuden is painting antideterministic art. For the first time at the beginning of the new century (2005) in London the question is raised, whether deterministic attributes of modern painting (new, authentic, antidecorative, scandalous) must be fundamentally reconsidered. In 2009 the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung published a report about the Transition Gallery in London, and their new appreciation of art under the heading: 'we need more dilettantes'. In this case the scandal is not intended to create a better saleability. Art musnt be no longer new, authentic, anti-decorative to be serious art. The anti-deterministic artist is allowed to paint old, anti-authentic, decorative but in a new dogmatical style. With every peace of art, corresponding with the above mentioned characteristics, the artists turns against the dictate of the ruling dogmatics.
