I created this painting on a large abandoned board that I found and recycled. My passion for visual art was born in Brazil, where I started recycling fabrics, materials and found objects, and since then the spirit of recycling has always been present in me. Recycled material, whatever it is, with its textures, shapes and lines gives me a starting point. This table already had a draft figure, and instead of deleting it completely, I decided to use it as a starting point for my creation. So I deepened the figure with the sign and the colors and then I saw a contemporary Venus by Botticelli, and from there I added the shell and stylized flowers using enamels. Always following inspiration and instinct, I then continued with the surrounding colors, I put wings and the surrounding colors and finally I inserted DNA-like filaments on the figure. I later discovered that these combined symbols correspond to Mercury's caduceus. This symbol represents for me the union of opposites, and so I decided to call my painting "Alchemy". The painting is published in the catalog of the exhibition "Anime in Abstraction" at Forte di Gavi, De Ferrari Editore Genoa 2022.

I am an Italian artist painter. Initially focused on studies in anthropology and passion for music in Spain, I developed then a passion for painting during stays in Brazil, where I experimented with recycled materials and self-taught techniques. Returning to Italy, I exhibited my works in various venues, bistros, castles and galleries, and attended art schools such as the Brera, further enriching my artistic approach.
