About The Artwork
"Mr. Black Beetle" In cultures of different nations, the stag beetle is often associated with symbols of power and courage. It is the personification of strength and endurance to overcome obstacles and confront difficulties. The stag beetle also symbolises the desire for development and growth, like a deer that overcomes its own limits and moves forward. Here I use an archival technique - a huge insect sealed in stones resembling burnt pieces of lava. The background has a relief with a matte finish and gives an unusual velvety effect that you want to look at and touch. This multi-stage complex work with my author's style attracts attention and leaves no one indifferent.
