This is an original oil on linen canvas board painting of an impressionistic abstract landscape featuring the North Atlantic seacoast of Maine. The painting depicts a scene of rain, mist, trees, rocks, nature, and tranquility. The heavy impasto technique is used to build texture with brushes and pallet knives to create a rich, tactile surface. Please note that this painting is not ready to hang and is signed on the back. A Certificate of Authenticity is included and only master-quality materials have been used.

" In general, my paintings are skirting the boundary line between representation and pure abstraction. Color, form, gesture, and physicality of paint - all of them are the subjects of main interest and great importance. Almost all paintings have been inspired by the landscape. Behind every abstract composition is a particular place in a particular time and in a specific atmospheric condition."
