As an artist, I always use oil on canvas as a medium and that serves my objectives well. The painting has been inspired by the colourful floor detail and surrounding buildings that always have hidden stories to tell... SERENDIPITY 70 cm x 100 cm 09/2021© Serendipity finds the viewer drawn into a mystifying place of the unexpected without looking for it. People meander about a vibrant paved piazza and accidently discover a world in curious circumstances. Dominated by a massive Ace of Hearts tree in bloom the square reveals people, shops and buildings with doorways ajar and an empty wooden bench; a bench so strangers can accidentally meet by chance and listen the rhythm and sound of music playing by a happy couple. The colourful Serendipity oil painting, allows the imagination to ponder and one may decide to enter the inner buildings that carry secrets and mysteries yet to be discovered. Andreas C Chrysafis
