Cali & Elfe Print

Hello ! Thank you so much for your kind attention to my humble works ! Thank you to the teams at Saatchi for the opportunity to display some images here ! When I was a young boy, and then a young man, I have to confess to you that I used to paint or draw some street art upon the walls of my home town, Paris ! This was already some time ago... Cali, was one of my "names", for it reminded me of the word : calibre, reference to the fact that I used to have a rather harsh life back in the days, and I had memories of having been assaulted by armed individuals, a few different times. Because in our local slang here, a "calibre" means : a gun. Even if I did never bear one for myself. Then Elfe, another of my "names", was a reference to the fact that still having this difficult existence, I would keep on through, as I did until today. Because as you know maybe, the elves do not die, in the legends. I was thinking about this and tried my best to be an elf, as in these old tales. I was full of dreams, and expectations ! And in a way, I don't deny this as of today, even if the situation has evolved a lot, and to better. Thanks again, Blessings along, All the best ! Tim
