Elfe & Kale Print

Hello ! The two names that I featured here and used, back in the days, to draw sometimes around in the city, are here painted and drawn on Moleskine papers... Elfe & Kale. In 2015, I truly had a very difficult time in Paris France ! There was a heavy repair work on the building next to my studio, and it was so noisy, then I did not have much money, much food, and this kind of problems went aside a feeling of rejection from my relatives, my friends or some of them also... Then even if I was not anymore exercising my street art outside, on the actual walls, I took a Moleskine notebook and realised a serial production of graffiti on papers, some of which are on display here at Saatchi Art... By the way, this year has been a very active one to me, in terms of graphic arts. Painting, then gave me a lot of pleasure, peace of mind also. And it helped me a lot getting through. Elf, one one the names I used to represent, is a reference to the Elves of the legends. Kale, translated in French, means "Chou". And I enjoy very much the "Choux à la crème", and also calling the ladies I can get along with : "Chou"... This is why I chose this name. Best regards !
