Limited editions of 70x90cm are printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Photo Rag paper 308 g/m2, and are delivered with author certificate. Each artwork is provided with an extra 2cm white border on all four sides to facilitate framing. Following a series of tests, the paper was carefully chosen due to its texture giving the image a three-dimensional quality, almost sculptural, and enhancing the sensation of endlessness and borderlessness underwater. This artwork portrays two bodies. The large body of the sea, and the naked body of the woman in its depth. It represents our presence in nature. How we form such a small part of the nature around us, how we are neither the center of it nor its controller. The nuances present in this series, offer an open ended dialogue on the relationship between these two bodies. The sea is depicted as wounded and vulnerable, as for the body, it intrudes the water till its depth creating movement and disruption. I hope the beauty of both those bodies make people understand the power of nature and the energy it radiates, and accept that we are a small part of a much larger ecosystem. Prints in smaller sizes are available directly through Saatchi in open editions. Moreover, I accept special commissions and requests if you are still unable to find what you are looking for. Please feel free to contact me with any inquiries.
