Jaime Parra

My name is Jaime Parra. I am an abstract expressionist who loves doing oil and other things on canvas. Born in Colombia, Jaime Parra also considers himself part if a second family, that of France, the country he adopted when he moved there 20 years ago. Homesick for his native land, he was overcome by a sense of escapism, and it was through his passion for painting that his imagination was able to take flight.Attached to the timeless values of art, he is conscious of his own time, rather than be connected to any one specific contemporary art movement.His art can be viewed online at
