Abstract painter and digital photographer born 1967. Sendyk studied at the National Art School in Sydney, Australia (1980s), later taking Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland (1990s).
Fascinations of abstract subjectlessness, vastness, conscious evolution and existential transformation, Sendyk's works necessitate an open contemplative approach. Shift in perception and cognitive density is a keystone across the entire oeuvre.
Sendyk evokes inspired curiosity by rendering an open "non-question" as a subjectless connective space. Observers are beckoned into a condition of observing themselves as observer.
Paintings use holographic layering, complexes of application, minute brush work and light sensitive materials. Viewed in lit and non-lit settings, works reveal in darkness a moving light painting, as an aspect obscured by the obvious.
