Stavri Kalinov

In 1969 he was admitted to the Higher Institute of Fine Arts, majoring in woodcarving. In 1977 he graduated from the institute and began to participate in various exhibitions. His first solo exhibition was in 1980 in Sofia. He called it the "Silver Exhibition", in which he showed 70 of his works. Some of his works have toured places such as Vidin, Yugoslavia and Turin in Italy. From 1981 until today, his exhibitions have traveled around the world - from London, through Frankfurt to Melbourne and Sydney in Australia, Spain, USA, Switzerland and others.
