Steven Moonan

Adult art education tutor based in Surrey, UK.
Specialities - abstract art, figure drawing, mixed media and film studies.
My own work is based on years of sketchbook work such as abstract drawing + ink, montage, small acrylic works, and cut up and reassembled abstract work.
As a (much younger) student, I was fascinated by the work of Anselm Kiefer, Joseph Beuys, Mona Hatoum, Christian Boltanski and Jasper Johns.
My work isn't about anything in particular, it's about everything, nothing, everything becoming nothing, living, dying, and 'the hole that cannot be filled'!
