Maternal transfiguration

For many years I have been exploring in my art how the human body changes throughout life. How our feelings and experiences, social norms, standards and of course time are reflected on faces and bodies. Through bodies and faces I learn stories. And it pains me to see the dire consequences for women in codependent, unhealthy relationships.
