About The Artwork

Framed Limited Edition 1 of 3 + 1 AP signed and numbered on the back. Framed Inkjet print. Since 2010, JCT Li has been engaged in her ongoing, ever evolving project Have a Nice Day, a series of digital photo collages she composes with photos of anonymous people sourced online. She then digitally warps the images until the features are unrecognizable, often barely registering as human forms. JCT considers this practice both a form of digital ‚recycling‘ and a comment on how our perceptions are so heavily influenced by photoshopped images.
