Onyewuchi Asoluka, he is normally known as Onye, is an artist/illustrator. Onye spent most of his childhood just drawing and producing a mixture of work, he started off drawing animals and plants then began to develop more skills by drawing cars and buildings and now he is more experienced, with more skills to combine together to create something unique. He loves being creative and Art to him is a way to express himself. He feels that getting involved in Art and Design industry is a very good direction to take. He has the ability to work on his own and in group. Onyewuchi mainly enjoys drawing and he specialises in portrait drawing which he has a strong point in mark-making and toning. At the moment, he has been involved in projects different people like; Musicians, Politicians, Friends and Family. He has had a lot of requests for drawings from a large amount people from the UK and outside the UK. Using social network sites such as Facebook to promote his work around the world. Onye says "I enjoy visiting Art Galleries and exhibitions. I am interested in figurative portraiture and Illustration-based exhibitions. I have recently visited an exhibition about drawing styles which I found very interesting because it helped me know more about different illustrators and styles that could be used. I found this very interesting as there were varied styles and approaches to drawing."
