Bansri experiments with color and texture, making a glorious chaos at times, at times following the conventional tenets of identifiable form and structure. She holds a degree in Commerce, but her passion for art ensured she kept away from the corporate world. Bansri is an accomplished Artist, Art Educator, Collaborator for architects/ interior designers as well as collaborator across art forms. ART EDUCATOR: Bansri has been a Professor at Ecole Intuit, an international design institute. She has taught Visual Expression and Art History Studio. This work enabled her to develop 600 + lesson plans over several years of teaching. She works extensively with children. Since 2019, she teaches virtual art courses across age 6 to 60. The group creates art, free flowing, and using guided lessons. The work is happy, individualistic, accepting of imperfection, open to experimentation. INDEPENDENT STUDIO: ART YOUR WAY, RAJKOT Wabi- sabi inspired minimalism. Incremental change-- Kaizen. Enso-like acceptance of imperfection. These are a signature of Bansri’s art. She aims to create art that can heal at a gracious studio in Rajkot. ART COLLABORATIONS: Bansri has sought innovative ways to tie together fine arts. Art and Music. Art and Scuplture. Art and Puppetry. Art and Dance. These collaborations allow osmosis and bring together Art, Community, Experience. ART OUTSIDE GALLERIES: Bansri works closely with architects and interior designers to bring art to everyday public spaces-- malls, homes, offices, shopping complexes, warehouses.
