Diane L Keister

Diane L Weber Keister was born 1954, in Youngstown, Ohio, US.

Being creative was always a strong part of Ms. Keister's personality. Her mother and uncle taught art classes and took her to art museums when she was very young both of which influenced and strengthened her skills.

Her work has been featured in several shows and cultural centers, including invitational solo exhibits and jury selected shows including International online exhibits/galleries.

Ms. Keister is the recipient of many scholastic and artistic awards and honors. She received a teaching assistantship, in Sculpture - Figure Modeling, from the Center for Teaching Excellence and the Art Department at the University of Maryland; a monetary and materials award from the General Honors Program, for Independent Research and Scholarship Study Project in the Fine Arts. In Addition, she received scholarships from Soroptimist Society, Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation, and the University of Maryland among others.
