Katharina Oelberg

My name is Katarina Oelberg and I am a self-taught artist. I love watercolors, oil paints, textured pastes, natural materials, textured painting, relief sculpture, with which I experiment a lot. My recent discovery - braiding stone with metal wire - has become a source of boundless inspiration for me, and my successes seem worthy of your attention. Inspired by natural stone and the present moment, I create miniature wearable sculptures. My work is strictly intuitive and in style approaches futurism and art nouveau. Above all, the tactility and closeness of art to man, to his simple everyday life and at the same time to the metaphysical depth of this apparent simplicity are important to me.
