Galería de Arte GOMA is a contemporary art space located in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Our mission is to support, exhibit, and promote emerging and mid-career artists through curated exhibitions, collaborative projects, and tailored cultural programs.
We work with a wide range of visual languages — from figurative and abstract to conceptual, textile, and minimalist — always aiming to create meaningful connections between the artwork, the space, and the viewer.
GOMA is also behind the initiative "Artist’s Corner", a platform dedicated to empowering young and emerging artists, and curates art installations for hotels and public venues through its program “Living Art in Soulful Spaces.”
With a strong commitment to accessibility and innovation, GOMA combines physical exhibitions with a robust digital presence, offering multilingual content and exclusive experiences for both local and international audiences.
Our mission is to elevate artistic talent through global visibility and accessible formats. Every piece we present is a gateway to a story, a place, and a voice.
Our curatorial team is composed of professionals with academic backgrounds in Fine Arts, Art History, Curatorial Studies, and Design from leading Spanish and international institutions. We bring together diverse perspectives to support and mentor emerging artists, while developing exhibition concepts that resonate with contemporary audiences.
As part of our mission, we also promote educational programs through workshops, artist talks, and guided exhibition visits, fostering meaningful engagement between creators and the public.
Galería de Arte GOMA curates exhibitions that explore the intersections between identity, territory, and emotion through contemporary visual languages. We present both solo and group shows featuring a diversity of mediums: painting, sculpture, photography, textile art, and conceptual installations.
Our programming includes:
Solo exhibitions for emerging and mid-career artists
Thematic group shows exploring current social and aesthetic dialogues
Exhibition cycles focused on Canarian and Mediterranean artistic perspectives
“Artist’s Corner”, a permanent program dedicated to showcasing new voices
Off-site exhibitions in collaboration with hotels, institutions, and cultural partners
Each exhibition is thoughtfully curated to foster dialogue between the artwork, the space, and the community.
