Masato Watanabe

Based in Japan, I draw upon a professional background in architectural rendering and digital game background design to create my original watercolor paintings.

By combining the precise perspective and eye for detail cultivated through architectural illustration with the fluid, delicate textures of watercolor, I pursue a unique artistic style. My core philosophy is to recreate the immersive atmosphere of standing right in the scene. I carefully capture the interplay of light and shadow, as well as the living breath of nature and cityscapes.

Over the past decade, I have focused exclusively on online activities, safely delivering over 200 hand-painted original works to collectors across more than 20 countries without a single issue. I invite you to explore my world and experience the realistic presence of Japanese landscapes through my art.
