Alex Somi

As a 20-year-old oil painter, I have fully devoted myself to painting over the past few years. Art has been a childhood passion of mine, and after studying for two years at an art school (11th and 12th grade), I continued my artistic journey independently. The school provided me with technical foundations, but personal experimentation helped me discover my own unique style.

In addition to oil painting, I am skilled in acrylic, watercolor, and graphite techniques, which allow me to explore a variety of artistic expressions and mediums.

During my formal studies, I acquired the fundamental technical skills of oil painting, as well as experience with other techniques such as acrylic, watercolor, and graphite. While I experimented with these mediums, oil painting has remained my primary passion.

Diploma Works Exhibition (2024) – Satu Mare County Gallery
This exhibition was a significant milestone for me. Presenting the works I created during my school years in such a prestigious venue gave me the opportunity to share the culmination of my artistic studies with the public.
