Frederic Cadiou

Frederic Cadiou is a French painter, born in 1980.

He is from the South Finistère in Brittany, where his studio is based.

His paintings represent landscapes, highlighted by a bold use of projected shadows and lights, drawing the eye to the horizon.

The fluidity of the lines, the clean contours and the measured choice of colours create calm, serene, contemplative atmospheres.

His work suggests the interaction between nature and human perception through a reduced palette and dynamic composition.
