Clément Nivert is born in 1977 in Melun (France) He live in Bois le Roi near Fontainebleau and no far from Paris. Clément Nivert lives in the heart of the Forest of Fontainebleau, an essential source of inspiration for him.

Clément Nivert comes from a family of artists. His great grandfather was Architect and painter. His grandfather painted all his life. His father painted in watercolor and his mother painted and made sculpture.
Clément Nivert learned painting from his artist grandfather and later developed his own style and technique.
