There is a thread that connects my paths and the tools I use: it is the thread of emotion, of color, and of light.
From the painter’s palette to digital photography, it may seem that an era has passed, yet for me everything is part of the same search.
If canvases and brushes represent the emotion of discovery, graphic design has been my school, illustration and drawing my expressive training, photography my practice in observation.
All these experiences now flow into the white space of the canvas, becoming my main language today.
My paintings are stories that seek one another and meet, layers of memories intertwining to give life to new images.
Unexpected elements emerge — they may be small objects found along the way or, more often, fragments of canvases painted in the past that come back to life in a collage capable of renewing itself into ever-changing stories.

A long experience in community organizations led me to work alongside inmates, youth from suburban areas, and abused women.
The latter entered my canvases, together with the sea—which for me is journey, boundary, and welcome, an open place without borders.

I am originally from Mortara (PV, Italy), where I held my first solo and group exhibitions at the end of my art studies.
After university and a period of teaching, I worked as a graphic designer in Treviso. Milan was the city where I lived the longest: there I delved into illustration, advertising design, publishing, packaging, and photography, while continuing to paint and exhibit.

Sono originaria di Mortara (PV), dove ho iniziato le mie prime esposizioni, personali e collettive, alla fine degli studi artistici.
Dopo un percorso universitario e un’esperienza di insegnamento, ho lavorato come grafica a Treviso. Milano è stata la città in cui ho vissuto più a lungo: lì mi sono avvicinata all’illustrazione, al design pubblicitario, all’editoria, al packaging e alla fotografia, continuando allo stesso tempo a dipingere ed esporre.

Among the various awards and group exhibitions I have taken part in, I have also held solo shows: in Milan at the galleries Spazio Libero 8, La Galleria degli Artisti, and Ai Binari; in the province of Pavia at Castello Isimbardi in Castello d’Agogna; in Genoa at the Casana 11 gallery; and in Livorno at the Il Melograno gallery.
