Ana-Maria Manolache

I am a contemporary artist who lives and works in Brașov, Romania.
I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Painting from University of Arts and Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca and also, a master degree in Sacred Art, in 2024 at Faculty of Orthodox Theology, Cluj-Napoca, România.
My art is focusing on the inner side of one's self, searching the uncounscious emotions in order to bring them to the surface.
Thus a series of self portraits has come to life exploring the details that remain hidden at first look.
Recently, my interest extends to exploring the relationship between the material or the visible side of the creation and the uncreated matter or that, what is still unseen to the eyes, especially the world of the angels.
