Barbara D Angelo Månsson

Prize-winning abstract conceptual artist whose work explores the intersection of art and science through paintings and sculptures. With a strong background in science, she investigates the relationship between perception, emotion, and rationality.
Her creative process begins with an intuitive response to colors, shapes, or materials, allowing emotion to guide the initial stages before rational thought intervenes. This instinctive approach transitions into a more analytical phase, during which she uncovers underlying narratives and connections within each piece. Wool thread frequently appears as a final element, serving as a personal symbol of connection and the moment of truth achieved in her artistic journey.
