Why do I paint? It's all about joy. Not just fun, but absolute joy - unconditioned or unrelated to anything outside me. It's all about trees, forests, fields, paths and clouds where I'm looking for a place for myself – respite and refuge. There are no people here, though. There’s light and colour. There is peace and quiet and a longing for space free from human presence.
