As a fine-art equine photographer, I am captivated by the sight of a horse running freely—embodying power, spirit, and the essence of freedom. This deep connection fuels my passion for capturing their beauty and energy. Inspired by the concept of the 'wind horse' from Eastern traditions, symbolizing positive energy and faith, I strive to infuse this spirit into my art.

I studied an HND in photography at Swansea Institute of Higher Education in 1992 and an art foundation course that included painting, sculpture, textiles, printing, and photography, which I combined many years later in my mixed-media photo-encaustic work.

Over the years I have sought to find mentors and workshops to help develop my artwork I have been lucky enough to be mentored by Jonathan Chritchely fine art ocean and equine photographer, Emily Hancock Fine Art Equine Photographer and Claire O'Neil - Encaustic Photography
