Zeina Bechara

Zeina Bechara, born in Lebanon in 1971.

Zeina is a graphic designer that graduated from LAU and worked as a freelancer in this field for several years. In 2003, she attended intensive private courses with a well-known painter, who introduced her to the extraordinary world of Art. After 5 years of hard work and perseverance, Zeina continued seeking and developing her own style in the Art’s field. In 2008, she attended the Saint Josephs’ University “Université Pour Tous” for a complete academic year and persisted there for 8 consecutives years. Zeina's style is a combination of modern art and Pop Art and is characterized by the use of collage. Influenced by Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, she mostly concentrates on the feminist portraits. Other works featured cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse, Snoopy, and more.

In 2016, she contributed to a collective exhibition with fourteen painters and achieved a great success. Zeina’s career can be viewed as a steady buildup of insight and experience, unleashed in one searing vision after another.
