Irit Epstein studied fine arts for five years at the Academy of Art (HDK) in Berlin, Germany, receiving a Masters of Fine Arts. Additionally, she completed a masters degree in Art Therapy at New York University.
Irit relocated to Toronto from Israel in 2010. Since that time she has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions at galleries in the Toronto area including the Arts and Letters club of Toronto, Gallery 1313, Articsok, Bezpala-Brown, Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant, Arta, The Papermill, Doris McCarthy Gallery, the Miles Nadal JCC, and others. She was the jury award winner for the February, 2012 "LastIn" exhibition at Bezpala-Brown Gallery. Irit also was the Juror's Choice in the "Back to Basics" exhibition at Doris McCarthy Gallery. In 2016, she exhibited in a group exhibition at Agora Gallery in New York City. Prior to her move to Canada, Irit's work appeared in six solo exhibitions in Israel. She participated in the group traveling exhibition "Contenedores De Espiritu" in Mexico. Additionally, her work was exhibited at the Biennale Internazionale Dell'Arte Contemporanea in Florence, Italy, as well as numerous group exhibitions in Israel and Germany.
