Ken Steinkamp

I was born 1948 in Grand Island, Nebraska USA. I was raised in Iowa. I have lived in Washington DC, Los Angeles CA, Northampton, MA, Providence RI, and currently reside in Westerly RI. I have traveled and observed art and cultures world wide for over twenty eight years. My quest as an artist has been one of an inner and outer search for life's meanings. My art consists of using a variety of media and materials in a linear and conceptual approach, challenging the surface to convey a soulfull and enigmatic expression.
