Aeng La

Based on the Cheongju area, She is working on the theme of the city. She mainly collects images through daily life and unravels them through work in drawing and painting. She received master's degree as an interior design at Hongik University's Graduate School of industry in 1999, and has been working on work to focus on creative activities since first solo exhibition "The Memory of the City" in 2019. The exhibition name "The Memory of the City" expresses the sadness, emotion and temporality of disappearing urban landscapes such as old houses, buildings, and alleys with traces of time remaining.
Recently, she has been developing by thinking about how to transfer the memories and emotions of the moments that suddenly feel unfamiliar in the city.
