Maylu García

I was born in 1963 in a town in Spain called La Solana, in the province of Ciudad Real. The love for painting I have always had; with 4 years I made my first watercolor and, since then, did not stop painting, except for some stages such as the time of university studies or the last professional years that had nothing to do with art and limited my artistic activity to make some works on request such as portraits and others, but always taking notes for upcoming works. In 2014, I made the decision to dedicate myself completely to art by setting up my studio / workshop in Madrid with the name of AURANTIA and this I have been doing since then. In my artistic career I have made numerous individual and joint exhibitions, as well as participated in art fairs and competitions getting some national and international awards.

My inspiration has always been the impressionist classics but I also like the current painting full of novelties and surprises. I like to develop myself in numerous techniques such as oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, mix with collages etc... and experiment with novel styles. En cuanto a mi formación, estudié la carrera universitaria de Técnico Superior en Empresas y Actividades Turísticas.
Respecto a pintura: He asistido continuamente a clases con los mejores pintores y acuarelistas españoles.
