Richard Layton

I am a self-taught artist spanning since the youngest years of my childhood. The arts remain a constant inspiration throughout my life. From the moment I could hold a pencil the urge to create anything visually fails to elude me. Seldom are my earliest and happiest memories far from a blank sheet of paper and a set of new pencils, pens or paints. My work remains expansive and diverse, but I particularly focus on painting and graphite portraits.
