I am a mother of 4 children and a dog, who started my art career to make myself and people around the world happy. Art is an expression of my everyday life, confirmation of the things I value, and a way to be myself. To do so, I try to understand agony and joy for them to be reinterpreted through nature. Trees, flowers, and birds are the biggest inspiration to my works as well as a comfortable chair which always suggests me a place to think.
My childhood living in three different countries; South Korea, Japan, and the U.K., affected my artworks and made me more open-minded in my approaches. I use various materials in mixture. Pastels, pens, crayons, acrylic paints, and watercolours are frequently being used in my drawings and paintings on paper or canvas. Unique tools like cotton buds, toothpicks often catch my mind as well.
Adapting new technologies is as important as experimenting with diverse methods. Drawings are digitally transformed to be explored in another dimension, which is usually printed on different surfaces such as archival papers, canvas, carpet, linen, and more.
